ISLAMIC. Circa 12th-14th centuries. Weight of 50 Dirhams (Bronze, 31x29 mm, 149.00 g), a coin weight in the form of a polyhedron. All faces decorated with circular punches, rosettes and countermarks reading ‘wāfī shāfī’ (‘full and exact [weight]’ in Arabic). A large and impressively decorated weight. Very fine.
